Experience

Eleven Miles
Senior Digital Designer (Jul 2023-present)

Digital Designer (Jul 2021- Jul 2023)

Ecologi
Designer (May 2020-Jul 2021)

Joining fast growing start up Ecologi as their first full time member of staff, I was hired as Digital Designer working alongside the Director. As a small 2 person design team, my role was varied and heavily involved in all aspects. From developing the brand, product and social identity, alongside helping to update and streamline design processes to help create a more consistent and cohesive relationship between design and development. During my time at Ecologi members increased by 13,000 and 14 million trees were planted.

Activation
Middleweight Creative (Jan 2019 – Sep 2019)

With my skillset having developed further, from the turn of the year I was promoted and taking sole control of projects more regularly, whilst liaising with the creative director for feedback and development. I was now involved in projects from start to finish, taking part in initial creative concept development right through to final testing and approval, working closer with our web developer. Working predominantly in digital, projects included developing several online tools for Nestlé Professional® as well as creating animated promotional content for a number of beer brands such as Korev Lager and Bath Ales.

Designer (Apr 2017 – Jan 2019)

After gaining a promotion, I was more directly involved in a variety of cross-media projects involving website design, animation, video editing, social campaigns and print. I worked with a variety of brands, from creating promotional websites for Peperami to social campaigns for St Austell Brewery. I also used this time to start developing new skills and partook in a 2D animation web course, later using this knowledge in a number of animated projects.

Junior Designer (Sep 2015 – Apr 2017)

As part of a small design team, I played a support role to the Senior Designers. By art working images, making mobile templates and creating social imagery I learnt a lot more about design process and really sharpened the standard and finesse of my work. I was also responsible for creating an internal weekly digest email, allowing me to experiment with these new learnings, highlighting what we had been working on, as well as topical news stories and design inspiration.

Maros Holmes
Intern (Jun 2015 – Aug 2015)

After graduation university, I took a part-time internship where I was tasked with the creation of a new brand and website for Canvas & Clover, as well as redesigning Upton-Upon Severn’s tourism website.
